Sophia Cussell is an award-winning creative from Aotearoa. She has experience in London, Australia, Aotearoa, and New York. She now lives and works in Melbourne.
In my ten years experience as a creative, I’ve been mentored by some of the best creatives. Starting out at DDB with Damon Stapleton at the helm, I made award-winning work including Volkswagen’s The Last Beetle, a heartfelt farewell to the beloved car, and ecostore's bold campaign, Permanent Bottle Recall, which changed a generation’s view on recycling. Since then, I have worked in London, commemorating fifty years of the country’s favourite rice brand. Then, at Saatchi & Saatchi, I unveiled the highly anticipated iPhone 15 for Apple. I spent almost two years in New York executing business to business projects, where my work graced the bright billboards of Times Square. Outside of bringing creative projects to life professionally, you can find me within the performing arts community, writing stories, or gallery hopping.
